Between 17th and 26th of April 2026 we had the chance to take part to a Training of Trainers on Global Education in Bușteni, Romania implemented by A.R.T. Fusion Association and it was an A M A Z I N G experience!! ✨
We arrived in Bușteni, a breathtaking place surrounded by tall trees and mountains that honestly didn’t feel real at first and maybe that was the perfect setting for what followed.
We get to know loads of facilitation methods and we worked with some of them, such as role play, research, bingo and many more in order to gain knowledge on the topics under the umbrella of Global Education. Researching and finding out truths about Greenwashing for specific companies was a bit scary, also, watching videos about electronic waste in Ghana. We processed a lot of information and then stepped into the challenging (and slightly scary) role of becoming facilitators ourselves. In small international and multicultural teams, we designed and delivered workshops around global education topics that matter to us.
It wasn’t easy, most of it was quite challenging (different cultures, different rhythms, different ways of thinking) but that was exactly the point. Somewhere between confusion, laughter and deep discussions, something finally clicked and it worked! We learned a lot of tools and we also tested them and experienced what collaboration really means.
We’re leaving this experience with more clarity and also more questions for the next experiences to come, definitely stronger and with a strengthened belief in collective processes and intercultural exchange.
